How the calculator works
The calculator starts with the width and projection you enter, then applies a roof-area factor for the conservatory style. It multiplies that area by an indicative supply-and-fit rate for the selected roof, adjusts for broad UK regional differences, and adds the upgrades you choose. The displayed lower and upper bounds are 18% below and 22% above the modelled typical figure, rounded to the nearest £50.
The model cannot inspect your frame, foundations, access, pitch, drainage, electrics or planning and building-control requirements. Those details can materially change a quote. Confirm whether VAT, surveys, structural calculations, fees, waste removal and decoration are included in any written proposal you receive.
How we research and update prices
The June 2026 model was assembled from published UK consumer cost guides, installer pricing ranges, manufacturer specifications and regional labour assumptions. We compare outputs with the low, typical and high project bands shown in our cost guide, then review the model when the underlying content or assumptions change. Published guides are reference points, not a substitute for local written quotations.

Installer introductions
Asking for an introduction is optional. It depends on installer coverage and availability, and we share an enquiry with no more than one installer where we can make a suitable introduction. Always verify an installer's identity, insurance, relevant scheme memberships, written scope, guarantees and building control arrangements before signing a contract or paying a deposit.
